This was a replacement part, shipped quickly and works well.

The one that came with the unit leaked. The replacement I received from a very nice lady in a quick time, worked fine! Five star for the lady

The replacement items were mailed via USPS, so I had to wait longer than I wanted. After installing the new drain valve, connecting the drain tube, securing with the orange clip, it still leaks when draining, but not nearly as bad. If it continues to leak I will be looking for another replacement and wishing I had just purchased new resin for my old softener. I have previously installed over one dozen water softeners for family and friends without any problems. To say the least, I am shocked!
